A Written Spec and One Contact, Not a Rolling One-Off

Contract cleaning is the arrangement behind the clean itself: a fixed schedule, a written scope, and a named contact who owns your account. Built for facilities managers who need to point to something in writing, not just trust it’ll happen.

Seawolf team reviewing a written cleaning spec on-site

What's included

  • ✓A written specification covering scope, frequency and standards
  • ✓A named account contact for changes, issues or additions
  • ✓The same assigned cleaner on every visit
  • ✓Advance notice and prompt rescheduling if a visit can’t go ahead as planned
  • ✓Consolidated monthly invoicing, including across multiple sites
  • ✓A scheduled review point to adjust the spec as the building changes

Who this is for

Facilities managers, property managers and business owners who need cleaning on a formal, ongoing footing, with a spec they can hand to procurement or reference if standards slip, rather than an informal weekly arrangement.

What determines your price

Contract pricing is set against the agreed spec: frequency, scope, and number of sites. Multi-site contracts are quoted as a single consolidated rate rather than site-by-site, which is usually simpler for procurement to sign off.

A guide, not a quote. Your exact price is set in a written spec after we've seen the site.

A small office on two 2-hour visits a week comes to about £704 a month. What changes the price: the size of the space, the number of washrooms and kitchens, how often we visit, and whether cleaning happens out of hours. Under 2 hours of work? Fewer, longer visits usually suit smaller offices better than short daily ones.

FAQs

Questions About A Written Spec and One Contact, Not a Rolling One-Off

Can you match our current spec sheet or SLA?

Yes. If you’re switching from an existing provider, send us the current spec and we’ll quote against it directly, matching or improving the scope.

Do you offer a service level agreement?

Yes, the written spec functions as the SLA: what’s cleaned, how often, and to what standard, with a named contact accountable for it, and it’s visible in your client portal alongside the actual visit record, so you can check the spec against what’s really happened. See also our note on contract vs ad-hoc cleaning if you’re still deciding which arrangement fits.

What happens if a scheduled visit can’t go ahead?

You’re given advance notice and the visit is rescheduled promptly, so it doesn’t just quietly slip off the rota unannounced.

Can we get a single invoice across multiple sites?

Yes, multi-site contracts are consolidated into one monthly invoice rather than separate billing per location.

How much does it cost?

As a guide, visits start from about £81 including travel and all products, with every visit booked for at least 2 hours. A larger site needing three hours is about £113 a visit, and a small site on two visits a week is about £704 a month. The exact price is fixed in a written spec after a free site walkthrough.
